Meet Tatiana Brown, Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Tatiana Brown is a people-first leader with over 20 years of experience in human resources and a lifelong passion for creating safe, supportive environments. She holds a Bachelor’s degree in communication and business as well as an MBA with a concentration in human resources—equipping her with a powerful blend of people strategy and leadership insight.

Her career has always centered on service—whether she was helping organizations thrive by developing top talent or proudly serving in the U.S. National Guard. That same dedication to protecting and empowering others led her to co-found Bricks Enterprises, a security company built on trust, professionalism, and community.

 

At Bricks Enterprises, Tatiana combines her HR expertise, military discipline, and genuine care for people to deliver tailored security solutions—from residential and commercial protection to large-scale events and executive protection. Under her leadership, the company is committed to building a team of highly trained, reliable officers who safeguard not just properties but people and peace of mind.

Thomas Ricks, Co-Founder and Managing Partner

Thomas Ricks is the Co-Founder and Managing Partner of Bricks Enterprises, where he brings more than two decades of leadership, tactical expertise, and elite-level training to the forefront of private security.

His mission: to deliver proactive, professional, and high-impact security solutions for clients across industries.With an extensive background in both federal and local law enforcement, Thomas has served in key leadership roles with the United States Marshals Service and the St. John Parish Sheriff’s Office as a Lieutenant in Special Operations. His operational strengths include narcotics enforcement, covert and overt operations, intelligence gathering, investigations, and risk assessment.Thomas’s expertise is reinforced by advanced training from the Foreign Affairs Security Training Center (FASTC), where he mastered essential security skills for high-threat environments. His training includes surveillance detection, emergency medical response, IED recognition, advanced firearms proficiency, and defensive driving maneuvers—skills typically reserved for elite federal agents operating internationally.

He also completed the Protective Service Operations Training Program (PSOTP), which provides specialized instruction in protecting high-profile individuals and dignitaries against criminal and terrorist threats. Through this program, Thomas gained hands-on experience in motorcade operations, mission planning, and full-spectrum protective strategies.Thomas holds a Bachelor's degree in Therapeutic Recreation and Leisure Studies from Southern University, where he was a dual-sport athlete in football and track. He later earned his Master of Business Administration from Columbia Southern University in March 2019, bringing both strategic insight and field knowledge to his leadership role.As Managing Director, Thomas Ricks is committed to raising the standard of security services—blending professionalism, preparation, and purpose to keep people and assets safe.
